With the exception of this weeks mild temperatures, we are in a very normal Summer type of water flow and water clarity situation. That is to say that the water levels are low and falling while the water clarity is quite good. This week’s coolish temps have kept the water temperature profile at reasonable levels.
While hatching activity has slowed somewhat, there are Tricos starting to appear on many streams, while caddis activity remains slow but steady on cooler evenings. Get out and enjoy this great weather.
