Another week has passed and the streams are still very fishable. As of August 9th Mill Creek at the county road 2 bridge in Chatfield is at 65 centimeters of visibility. With western days going on this weekend it might be a bit busy, but Mill Creek is fishable in all forms of trout fishing. As of August 9th Trout Run at buck snort park had over a meter of visibility. This stream is looking very clean and can be fished in any manner of trout fishing. As of August 9th the South Branch of the Root River at the county road 17 bridge was at 75 centimeters of visibility. The Root River is back down to its normal water level and the water is just a little cloudy, but still fishable in all forms of trout fishing.
