Streams are looking pretty good compared to last week. As of June 28th mill creek at the county road 2 bridge in Chatfield was at 17 centimeters. The stream still looked as though it was running little high and the water was very murky. This stream is fishable with spinners and worms. As of June 28th Trout Run at the Bucksnort dam was at 81 centimeters. Trout run has looked good for most of the summer so far and looks to be very fishable for the upcoming weekend. This stream is fishable in all manners of trout fishing. As of June 28th the South Branch of the Root River was at 50 centimeters. The Root River is still running higher than normal but it has finally started to clear up. The Root River is going to be fishable in all manners of trout fishing for the coming weekend.
Extra Note: Deer Creek at County 8/Oriole Rd was beautifully clear today (Friday 29th) about 1:00 PM with a clarity >100 cm and a temperature of 73 degrees.
