With the help of a pretty dry week the stream are looking back up to par. As of June 7th, Trout Run Creek at the bucksnort dam has over 1 meter of visibility. This stream is fishable for all styles of trout fishing, But be careful the fish do not see you! As of June 7th, mill creek at the county road 2 bridge in Chatfield was at 35 centimeters of visibility. This stream is still little muddy but is still fishable with spinning tackle and wet flies. Hopefully in the next few days you should be able to start fishing dry flies there. As of June 7th the South Branch of the Root River at the county road 17 bridge in Preston was at 95 centimeters of visibility. the water is plenty clear at this location to fish all styles of trout fishing. With a chance of rain showers Friday and Saturday, an additional post will be made if the streams are affected by the rain.
